<p><strong>The inspiration for this book came from a video home group series we did at Harvest Church in Trucksville, Pennsylvania, entitled "Heaven on Earth."</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>When you think about it, a major theme of the Bible is bringing heaven back to earth, mankind back to God, and all of us back together, never separated by death again.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>From Adam to Abraham to Moses and the law, the prophets, the gospel, the New Testament letters, and revelation, all of it is directed toward ending the way God started it. Only this time, the ending will truly be the end.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>As the apostle John says in revelation, 21: 1, 3-4, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away and I heard a loud voice from heaven, saying, 'Behold, look, the tabernacle, the dwelling place of God is with mankind again and there shall be no more death, no more sorrow, no more crying, and no more pain' "ever again.
